Working Together!

Paula Knudsen, has been named Chief Administrative Officer-Treasurer of the Township. She is the link between Council, the heads of departments and the public. Her main duties are to oversee and to coordinate the activities of the municipality according to the priorities established by the Municipal Council.

The administration department coordinates municipal activities and operations so that they proceed in an integrated fashion. It provides policy advice and recommendations to council and ensures that decisions made by council are carried out in a timely and effective manner. The department is also responsible for all affairs related to municipal finances including the collection of taxes, water and sanitary service rates, elaboration and control of the budget and management of the debt.

Alison Collard has been appointed as Clerk and Nathalie Boulerice has been appointed as Deputy Treasurer.

The Clerk and the Treasurer are appointed under numerous provincial legislations as the persons responsible for such matters as amendments to the municipal Official Plan and Zoning By-law, construction and maintenance of municipal drains, tile drainage loans and licensing of dogs.

The Clerk is also the Municipal Lottery Licensing Officer and Returning Officer for municipal elections.
