Mr. Jean Thériault is the link between Council, the heads of departments and the public. This department is responsible for all affairs related to the municipal finances including the collection of taxes and water and sanitary service rates.

The Clerk-Treasurer is appointed under many provincial legislations as the person responsible for such matters as amendments to the municipal Official Plan and Zoning By-law, construction and maintenance of municipal drains, tile drainage loans and licensing of dogs.

Mr. Thériault is also the Municipal Lottery Licensing Officer and Returning Officer for municipal elections.
