• French educational program offered in partnership with the Conseil scolaire du district catholique de l'Est ontarien;
• Program based on learning through play with activities centered on the child's social, emotional, cognitive, language and psychomotor skills development;
• Offered on an alternative basis with the Maternelle program;
• Registration is optional and has to be done at the same time as the Maternelle registration;
• The adult/child ratio is 1:16;
• The Champlain Daycare services coordinator hires ECE qualified French teachers and assistant teachers;
• The coordinator is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of the staff, for the creation and implementation of an educational program that complies with the school board's policies and expectations.
