On Saturday, September 16th 2006 Township of Champlain, Township of East Hawkesbury and the Town of Hawkesbury will be participating in a province-wide celebration of community heritage - DOORS OPEN ONTARIO 2006. Doors Open Ontario is one of Ontario’s Top 50 festivals!

This festival is designed to create access, awareness and excitement about our local heritage. Residents and visitors will have a unique opportunity to explore and enjoy for free some of our wonderful heritage, for example,
