Arena/Community Centre
36 Mill Street
Vankleek Hill, ON K0B 1R0

The Vankleek Hill Arena is a single pad arena that was originally constructed in 1978. The ice surface is 185' x 85' and is said to have the best ice in the area. There have been many upgrades to the facility over the years which include the installation of de-humidifiers, gas heating for the stands, a “low e” ceiling, a new roof and new higher glass on the boards where the spectators sit.

The most recent upgrade to the building is a new addition to the arena which houses two huge dressing rooms, complete with granite showers, a large referees room, offices for the Minor Hockey Association, Skating Club and our Junior C team, the “Cougars”. This project was spearheaded by a small group of volunteers who came up with the plans for the addition and raised over $75,000 in private donations which convinced Council that the time was right for these improvements.

We offer free public skating on Mondays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 4:50 pm and on Sundays from 3:00 pm to 4:50 pm. Everyone is welcome!
