HIGGINSON TOWER VISITS
Location: 5843 Church Street, Vankleek Hill

Visitors can go inside this 175-year-old restored Higginson Observation Tower. This restoration, involved heritage stonemasons and timber frame construction. Interior stairs allow visitors to climb to the top of this 52-foot-high tower for a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside.

Art shows at art galleries in Vankleek Hill during the Victoria Day long weekend, a fixture since 1982. Entertainment and craft vendors in the street, closed to traffic on Sunday and Monday.

L'ORIGNAL OLD JAIL (1-888-632-5245)
Location: 1023 Queen Street, L'Orignal

Guided tours - The Old Jail in L'Orignal was in continuous use from 1825 right up to 1998. It has now been reopened as an attraction during the summer and special events. The associated court house continues to this day.
