Yesterday, Champlain Township had the honour of receiving Radio Canada’s reporter and comedian Bruno Blanchet who chose Champlain Township to film his podcast, Le 5 à 7 carré.

Information for Canada Day

  • All municipal offices will be closed on Monday, July 3.
  • Garbage collection will take place as usual.
  • The landfill is open on July 1, as usual.
Starting July 1st, Circular Materials will be responsible for Champlain recycling pick-up. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact their contractor Cool Containers & Rentals Inc. Have you marked your calendar yet? Thanks to our generous partners, we have another day of celebrations filled with activities for the whole family! And as a special treat, fireworks will be done ON the river this year! Check out the schedule below. See you at the beach!

Second Part of L'Orignal Beach Retaining Wall Complete! The second section of the L’Orignal Beach retaining wall has recently been completed thanks to a generous donation received in 2022 from the L’Orignal Knights of Columbus.
