L’Orignal, November 23, 2022 – During the annual swearing-in ceremony held earlier this evening, Mr. Normand Riopel, Mayor of the Township of Champlain, was acclaimed Warden of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) for the year 2023. Book on Every Bed

For over 10 years, the Champlain Library has been providing children with a new book at Christmas through the “Book on Every Bed” campaign.

The Library is looking for donations of new books so that children whose families are recipients of Christmas baskets from the Vankleek Hill and L’Orignal Food Banks will wake up Christmas morning with a book on his or her bed.

The Township of Champlain Receives a Major Donation of $60,000 From the Knights of Columbus of L’Orignal St-Jean Baptiste
