Champlain Township – August 2, 2019 – The Township of Champlain wishes to notify residents that its municipal offices, located at 948 Pleasant Corner East, Vankleek Hill and 925 County Road 17, L’Orignal will be closed on Monday August 5, 2019 for the Civic Holiday.
Also please take note of the following information:
- Daycare services – Closed
- Champlain Library - Closed
- Garbage collection – Will be collected as usual
- Recycling collection – No collection on August 5

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS ALONG HIGH STREET (HIGHWAY 34)
This notice is to advise you that the work on the reconstruction of High Street (Highway 34) is progressing well and is still expected to end this summer.
Driveway Closures for Sidewalk Construction
The Contractor will start sidewalk construction on July 9 and expects to have the sidewalk completed in the week of July 24. Driveways will again need to be closed for a few days to allow for this work and to allow the concrete to cure.
