All recreational and sports facilities are closed until further notice.
Further to local restrictions introduced, the Province of Ontario has issued an emergency order under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act to close all outdoor recreational amenities.
What’s closed:
The following amenities within the township's parks are closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT IN CHAMPLAIN TOWNSHIP
In order to ensure public safety and well-being during the evolving COVID-19 outbreak, the Township of Champlain has decided to issue a full fire ban in the Township of Champlain. There will be a complete ban on fires, including CAMP FIRES and OPEN AIR FIRES until further notice.

Drive-Through COVID-19 Testing Centre Opening in Casselman
The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU), in partnership with the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital, is opening a drive-through COVID-19 testing centre in Casselman on Thursday, April 2nd, 2020.
