The Township of Champlain is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak, and is always in discussion with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.

New Municipal Office Schedule

Municipal Office will close at 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and at 3:30 p.m. on Friday

The Township of Champlain is taking preventative measures against coronavirus (COVID-19) by implementing additional sanitation practices at the municipal office.

Please note that the municipal office will close every day at 4 p.m. for an indefinite period so members of each department clean and sanitize the office to protect municipal employees and the community.

REGION  BY THE MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH, ISSUED FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2020 AS PART OF OUR COLLECTIVE PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES TO CONTAIN AND PREVENT POTENTIAL WIDESPREAD COMMUNITY ACTIVITY OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, I, DR. PAUL ROUMELIOTIS, MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH, DIRECT ALL EOHU REGION MUNICIPALITIES TO:

1. Close all community/sports complexes to the public until April 5, 2020.
