HAWKESBURY OPP MOVING TO NEW FACILITY

The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is moving and this means a new address and temporary limits on in-person and phone service.
The official move to the new facility at 1425 Cameron Street in Hawkesbury will be September 14-16, 2020. This means the detachment will not be open to the public on those days and the local phone number will either be out-of-service or may go directly to voicemail during the transition.

Open air burning is a serious matter!
Prior to burning any material on any property, an application must be filed by the landowner before a fire permit is issued. The fee for this permit is $10.00. Certain criteria must be met before obtaining permission to burn. The Township application contains pertinent information that will assist the applicant in burning the material safely.
