The return of the Starter Company Plus program supports the recovery of businesses in Prescott and Russell

The Prescott and Russell Entrepreneurship Centre (PREC) present again this year the Starter Company Plus financial assistance program for SMEs in Prescott and Russell. The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is moving and this means a new address and temporary limits on in-person and phone service.

The official move to the new facility at 1425 Cameron Street in Hawkesbury will be September 14-16, 2020. This means the detachment will not be open to the public on those days and the local phone number will either be out-of-service or may go directly to voicemail during the transition.

Open air burning is a serious matter!

Prior to burning any material on any property, an application must be filed by the landowner before a fire permit is issued. The fee for this permit is $10.00. Certain criteria must be met before obtaining permission to burn. The Township application contains pertinent information that will assist the applicant in burning the material safely.
