Huge success for the first Christmas Parade organized by the Township of Champlain

Champlain Township, December 7, 2022 - The very first Champlain Christmas Parade was a tremendous success on Friday, December 2, on the streets of Vankleek Hill. Thousands of people lined up along Perreault, Home, Stanley, Higginson, Derby and Main Street. After two years without a Christmas Parade, everyone was more than ready to enjoy and to participate in the event.

Flushing of the municipal water system will begin on Wednesday, October 5 and continue during the next few weeks. This procedure will remove accumulated rust from the watermain that may have formed on the pipe walls. The water flow is increased and the water is flushed through the hydrants.
