Purchase of Fire Trucks (Sole Source) |
The Township of Champlain intends to purchase two pumper fire trucks from Thibault Fire Trucks through a sole-source procurement process. This acquisition is being treated as an emergency purchase under Section 5.21 of the Township’s Procurement Policy for the following reasons:

Purchasing Division
The Purchasing Division of our Finance Department is responsible for the procurement of goods, services and construction in the Township.
Their duties are to:
- Provide fair, open and transparent bid opportunities to contractors and suppliers
- Acquire goods and services as economically as possible through price, quality and delivery
