They are the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. Their internationally recognized mentoring program hand matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 3,000 volunteer mentors.

The Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) serves job seekers, workers, entrepreneurs and employers in the greater Prescott and Russell region in Ontario. Our non-profit organization was incorporated in 1983. To better serve our clientele, we operate three branches, including the head office in Hawkesbury and offices in Rockland and Embrun.

The Centre provides its various clienteles with many services: employment counselling; psychometric testing; assessment and identification of training and development needs; résumé writing; work placement and on-the-job training; funding for integration-related accessories and workplace accommodations; scholarships; group workshops; visit of businesses; work experience and virtual career exploration activities.

The Prescott and Russell Entrepreneurship Centre [PREC] was formed in recognition that small and medium enterprises [SMEs] are the backbone of Ontario's economy and create jobs, innovation and prosperity.

They help small business owners and entrepreneurs succeed in the counties of Prescott and Russell by offering information, tools and support during start-up and growth stages of business operation. They also offer seminars, workshops and networking opportunities that are designed with the entrepreneur in mind.

The Canadian Experiences Fund, delivered by regional development agencies across the country, is a two-year
$58.5-million national program to support communities across Canada to create, improve or enhance tourism products, facilities and experiences. 

FedDev Ontario was allocated more than $11 million to deliver this Fund in southern Ontario.

Francophone Community Grants Program

As the province begins its economic recovery, the government is launching the 2020-21 edition of the Francophone Community Grants Program to support Ontario's francophone businesses and community organizations, as well as those that serve French-speaking Ontarians.

The Program has two funding streams: a cultural and community stream open to not-for-profit organizations, and an economic development stream open to businesses serving the French-speaking community.
