Parks and Recreation Junior Attendant (2 Seasonal Positions)
The Township of Champlain is seeking dynamic and motivated young individuals to fill two (2) seasonal summer positions as Junior Attendant for the Parks and Recreation Department.
Reporting to the Director of Parks and Recreation or alternate, the Junior Attendant position will mainly be working in rotation in our various parks. This position will ensure that facilities are kept clean; help with set-ups for various events; be responsible of general park maintenance which includes picking up trash, emptying garbage cans, working with small tools, landscaping maintenance, beach cleaning with equipment etc.

L'Orignal Park Refreshment Vehicle Services (RFP REC2023-01)
Closing Date: Wednesday, April 27, 2023, at 3:00 p.m
The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified contractors mobile refreshment vehicle services at the L’Orignal Park. The Vendor may leave Refreshment Vehicle onsite during the summer operation months only, at the owner’s own risk however must only operate during park hours (8 a.m. to 9 p.m.). It must be mobile and no greater than 10 meters in length (33 feet), by 2.6 meters in width (8.5 feet), by 4.3 meters in height (14 feet).The Vendor will provide its own mobile infrastructure, fuel source, water supply and disposal, including grey water, grease disposal methods, and waste disposal methods.
Supply and Delivery of Winter Sand (RFQ PWT2023-01)

The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified contractors for supply and delivery of winter sand. The work includes, but is not limited to the supply of Winter Sand and shall be delivered as follows:

It is agreed by the parties that the successful bidder shall contact each Township/County to set the delivery date of the goods and that this delivery date shall be no later than August 25th, 2023 unless agreed upon between both parties.
Sidewalk Machine (RFT PWT2023-02)

The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified equipment suppliers for the supply and delivery of a sidewalk machine. Supplier must supply and deliver one (1) 2023 or 2024, new or demo Sidewalk Machine as per specifications in Form 2 of tender document: A new or demo, articulating four-wheel drive municipal type tractor with four equally sized wheels, diesel-powered, high flow hydraulic, multi-purpose and capable of mounting a wide variety of accessory attachments including, but not limited to: Power V-plow, Snow blower, Drop sander and Dump body. Equipment shall meet or surpass the mandatory requirements of the “Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations” (SOR-70-487) amended and must bear the National Safety Mark, outlined in those regulations.
Installation of Mountable Curbs (RFQ PWT2023-03)
Closing Date: Wednesday, April 20, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.
The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of mountable curbs with narrow gutter as follows: The Contractor shall be responsible to excavate material to the required final grade after the removal of the existing curb. The Contractor shall place a minimum of 200 mm of granular “A” bedding compacted to 100% S.P.D. The Contractor shall supply forms and place concrete (MTO mix) as specified below. Fly ash shall not be accepted in the mix. The Contractor must provide the Director of Public Works with the mix design prior to placing any concrete as per O.P.S.S. 904 (or any amendments thereto).
