Public Works Adminstrative Assistant (permanent, full-time position)
Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Public Works Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing moderately complex administrative duties. The position provides administrative and accounting support to the Director of Public Works and department staff; deals with customer enquiries, prepares and processes permits, assists with department purchasing, processes work orders and invoices, assists in the collection of information and data entry related to infrastructure, vehicle, and equipment maintenance, and maintains departmental files and databases, along with all other clerical and administrative duties as required.

Campground Attendant (seasonal, part-time position)
The Township of Champlain is looking to add the right person to the Parks and Recreation team. This position is seasonal part-time (from May 1 to September 30th). This individual must be bilingual, able to work alone and display professionalism when representing the Township of Champlain. The candidate will have to: be responsible for greeting guests as they enter the park after business hours and maintaining a safe and peaceful environment throughout the evening; provide excellent customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests needs. Report all customer problems, requests or complaints to the Campground Office; require that all guests are registered before entering campground; ensure all guests follow established campground rules and regulations and tour the campground buildings, facilities and grounds on a regular basis; and clean and maintain facilities.

The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide services for grass cutting and trimming at various municipal properties for a three-year contract (2022 to 2024): grass cutting and trimming services at various municipal properties; all work will be done during regular business hours from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, no weekend cutting or trimming will be permitted; the work under this Contract comprises the furnishing of all labour, tools, equipment, and materials required for grass cutting and trimming as required.
