Champlain, October 1, 2025 - Champlain Fire and Emergency Services Open House 2025 

Champlain Fire and Emergency Services is opening its doors to the community for an Open House on Thursday, October 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at both the L’Orignal Fire Hall (11 Main Street East) and the Vankleek Hill Fire Hall (10 Elgin Street).

This family-friendly event is a unique opportunity to learn more about the important work our firefighters do to keep our community safe. Visitors can:

• Meet & Greet with Sparky the Fire Dog

• Meet our firefighters

• Take a tour of the fire halls and trucks

• Enjoy a BBQ at both Fire Halls

• Explore equipment displays

• Pick up public safety information

• And more!

Champlain Fire Services invites residents of all ages to join in.

“The Open House is a great chance for the community to connect with their local firefighters, learn about fire safety, and see the equipment we use every day,” said Fire Chief Ghislain Pigeon. “It’s an event we look forward to every year, and we hope to see many families come out.”
