Flags Will Fly at Half-Mast in Champlain to Honour Sgt. Eric Mueller

Champlain, May 11, 2023 — Flags at all Champlain Township buildings will fly at half-mast, in honour of Sergeant Eric Mueller of the Ontario Provincial Police, who died in the line of duty, on May 11, 2023, in Bourget.

Champlain Township and its municipal council offer their most sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Sergeant Mueller, and to the team of the Ontario Provincial Police who put their lives on the line every day to keep our citizens safe.

The flags of the Township will remain at half-mast until the day of the funeral in recognition of Sergeant Mueller’s act of bravery.
