Notice of a Complete Application and of a Public Meeting Concerning a Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment Z-01-2023

Take notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Champlain received a complete application and will hold a Public Meeting on February 22, 2023 at 6 p.m. at the United Counties of Prescott and Russell County Office, 59 rue Court Street, L'Orignal, to consider a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law No. 2000-75 of the Township of Champlain under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.

The purpose and effect of the zoning by-law amendment is to rezone the lands known municipally as 1950 Greenlane Road West legally described as Part of Lot 19, Concession 3, Registered Plan R15744 in the former Township of West Hawkesbury, now in the Township of Champlain. The proposed zoning amendment is to rezone a portion of the subject lands from RU (Rural) to RR (Rural Residential). Obtaining a zoning by-law amendment is a condition of consent application B-007-2022.
