Public meeting: Retail business Holiday

The Council of the Township of Champlain is considering passing a by-law which would permit all retail businesses to be open on certain statutory holidays.

As per Section 4 (6) of the Retail Business Holiday Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.R.30, the Township must hold a public meeting in respect to the proposed by-law and permit any person who attends the public meeting the opportunity to make representations in respect of the proposed by-law.

Therefore, the Council of the Township of Champlain will be holding a public meeting:

On Tuesday September 11, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Township office located at 948 Pleasant Corner Road East, Vankleek Hill, Ontario
