Rehabilitation of the Vankleek Hill Arena

The Arena Rehabilitation Project is officially completed.

 Brief Summary and Timeframe

In February 2022, two major capital fundings for its aging arena in Vankleek Hill were announced to the Township of Champlain.  At 45 years of age, the arena slab was beyond its lifespan and needed to be replaced. This important project ensured its ongoing availability to the many local ice user groups, and avoided the added costs of emergency replacement. Furthermore, the capital funding received allowed for other important upgrades to be made to our beloved arena that further make it a more inclusive, healthy and safe environment for everyone.
