  1. Snow sculpture contest
  2. Scavenger Hunt
  3. Craft & fun with the Library
  4. Cross-country skiing
  5. Outdoor skating
  6. Snow slide
  7. Disco skating
  8. Free Junior C game and popcorn

Snow Sculpture Contest

Get your shovels, fill your buckets, and get ready to sculpt! Here's all you need to get started!

  • A five-gallon bucket and/or containers of other sizes (yogurt container, waste bin, etc.).
  • A tool to tamp down snow (a pot, a second bucket, a garden hoe, etc.).
  • A spoon, butter knife and/or other carving tools.
  • Snow- any consistency works!

In a few words,  fill your bucket with non-packing snow, tamp it down, flip it over and leave it to ''sinter'' for at least two hours. Once the snow has settled, you can easily move and carve the blocks of snow.

Submit Your Sculpture

Submissions will be accepted beginning Tuesday, February 1st until Thursday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m. Send us a picture of your artwork with or without the artist, name and age by private message on Facebook.
