Covid-19 Public Meeting Procedures

Council Room

Public Participation in Virtual Public Meeting

We are excited to let you know that the Township of Champlain is modifying its meeting procedures to allow for virtual access.

Residents, affected neighbours or interested parties may continue to make either written or oral presentations to Council for any application under review. Written comments can be directed to the Senior Planner or the Clerk of the Township of Champlain. Those who wish to make oral representations by telephone or live video may do so at any virtual meeting provided they sign up with the Township of Champlain 48 hours prior to the scheduled public meeting. Participants will be given 5 minutes to share their support or concerns for any application in front of Council.

The video will be live streamed at the Township of Champlain youtube channel “Information Champlain”.
If for whatever reason the connection is not working for the live stream, the Township will post the call in number for the Zoom Conference Call here so any person wanting to hear the live discussion may do so.

A recording of the Public Meeting will be published on the Township of Champlain's YouTube Channel "Information Champlain" as soon as possible following the completion of the public meeting.
