Celebrate Canada Day at L'Orignal Beach on June 30 and July 1

The Township of Champlain and the L'Orignal Firefighters Association invite residents and visitors to celebrate Canada Day at L'Orignal Beach on June 30 and July 1.

Join us for two days of family fun, live entertainment, great food, refreshments, and a spectacular fireworks display over the river.

Event Program

June 30

The festivities begin on June 30 with an evening of music and celebration.

From 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., visitors can enjoy the outdoor beer tent and a variety of snacks, including offerings from Sweet Billy's Food Truck.

At 8 p.m., Justin Roy will take the stage for a live performance.

The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks over the river at 9:30 p.m., presented by Magic Sky Pyrotechnie.

July 1

Canada Day celebrations continue on July 1 with activities for all ages from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Families can enjoy:

  • Inflatable castles
  • Water slide
  • Face painting
  • Music
  • Sports and games
  • Free popcorn

An outdoor beer tent will also be open throughout the day.

Visitors will find a variety of food and treats available on site, including:

  • Chez Kim Restaurant
  • Sweet Billy's Food Truck
  • Beef sandwiches on kaiser buns
  • Sweet Antlers (BeaverTail-style pastries)
  • And more

This is a licensed event. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the event site.
