Vegetation Control

What is vegetation control?

Vegetation control involves the strategic control and removal of unwanted plants, including weeds, bushes, branches, and trees. This vegetation poses risks to assets like power lines and railways, potentially impacting communities and the quality of services delivered.

The following herbicides registered under the Pest Control Products Act will be used:

  • Guardrails: Factor 540 herbicide (PCP #27988) which contains the active ingredient glyphosate (present as potassium salt).
  • Sidewalks: Horticultural Vinegar (PCP #30482) which contains the active ingredient acetic acid
