The Township of Champlain is inviting quotations from qualified architectural and engineering consulting firms to provide professional design services for recreation facility projects in L’Orignal.
The Request for Quotation, RFQ-REC-2026-03, is divided into three Project Sections. Proponents must submit a quotation for Section A and may also submit quotations for Section B and/or Section C. Each Project Section must be priced separately.
Section A – Existing Chalet-Abri Renovation and Expansion (Mandatory)
Professional architectural and engineering services for the proposed renovation and expansion of the existing Chalet-Abri, including consideration of building code and accessibility requirements, washroom improvements, increased seating and occupancy capacity, and the preparation of the required plans and specifications.
Section B – New Chalet-Abri / Community Centre (Optional)
Professional architectural and engineering services for the development of a new Chalet-Abri / Community Centre, including the preparation of construction-ready plans, specifications and related documentation.
Section C – L’Orignal Park Tennis Court Relocation and Redesign (Optional)
Professional services for the proposed relocation and redesign of the existing tennis courts at L’Orignal Park, including the preparation of plans, specifications and related technical documentation.
Important Information
This Request for Quotation is for professional services only and does not include construction work. Proponents are not required to submit designs, drawings or concepts as part of their quotation.
A mandatory site visit will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Questions regarding this Request for Quotation shall be submitted in writing by email to the Contracting Authority in accordance with the deadlines and procedures outlined in the RFQ documents.
