Enjoy easy access to the Ottawa River at the L’Orignal Marina. Whether you're launching for the day, docking for the weekend, or staying for the season, the marina offers convenient facilities and a welcoming waterfront experience for recreational boaters.
Hours of Operation
The marina generally operates from the third weekend of May to the second weekend of October, subject to weather conditions, water levels, flooding, maintenance requirements, and operational considerations.

Seasonal and Visitor Docking
The L’Orignal Marina offers a variety of docking options for both local and visiting boaters. Whether you are staying for a day, a week, or the entire boating season, the marina provides flexible docking opportunities to meet your needs. Seasonal members may rent a dock with water and electrical services, while some docks are available without services. Daily, weekly, and seasonal docking options are available.


Public Boat Launch
The boat launch provides convenient access to the Ottawa River for recreational boating, fishing, and water sports throughout the boating season.
The boat launch is free for Township of Champlain residents and available to non-residents for a fee.
Marina Amenities
The L’Orignal Marina offers a variety of amenities and services to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable throughout the boating season. Available amenities include:

Rules & Regulations
- All vessels must be maintained in a seaworthy and safe operating condition.
- All vessels shall operate at a no-wake speed within the marina basin and adjacent docking areas.
- Operators must comply with all federal and provincial boating regulations while within the marina.
- Discharge of sewage, fuel, oil, chemicals, garbage, or any pollutant into the water or on marina property is strictly prohibited.
- Vessel owners shall immediately report any fuel spill, environmental incident, or hazardous condition to marina staff.
- Waste shall be disposed of only in designated receptacles.
- Marina users and guests shall conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times.
- Excessive noise, disorderly conduct, harassment, or activities that interfere with the enjoyment of other users are prohibited.
