In addition to issuing its own bids and tenders, the Township of Champlain may participate in procurement opportunities conducted through cooperative purchasing organizations. When goods, services, or equipment are procured through these programs, separate Township bid or tender postings may not be issued.

The Township of Champlain is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of a new park pavilion at L'Orignal Park.
The following is a general but not necessarily complete description of the works to be constructed under this contract:
The Work includes, but is not limited to, the design and construction of an approximately 40-foot by 60-foot open-air timber frame pavilion on a reinforced concrete slab. The primary scope of work includes engineering, permits, site preparation, excavation, granular base, reinforced concrete slab and foundation, timber pavilion structure, permanent roofing system, inspections, closeout documentation, warranties, and all labour, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the project in accordance with the Request for Tender documents.
An enclosed storage and service area may be included as an optional component of the project, as further described in the Tender documents.
The project site is located at: L'Orignal Park, 772 Front Road West, L'Orignal, Ontario.

Request for Tender documents may be obtained by contacting Sydney Collard, Director of Parks and Recreation, by email at sydney.collard@champlain.ca, with the subject line: “REC2026-02 – Construction of Park Pavilion.” Contractors requesting the Tender documents by email can expect to receive a response within 24 hours.
Questions regarding this Request for Tender shall be submitted in writing by email to the Contracting Authority in accordance with the deadlines and procedures outlined in the Tender documents.
