L'Orignal Longueuil Heritage

Founded in 2005, this non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting the rich history of L’Orignal and its legacy as a former seigniory in Ontario. Its archives, located in the historic L’Orignal Old Jail and maintained by volunteers, focus on researching existing documentation and conducting new studies to better understand, document, preserve, and interpret the historical, cultural, and natural heritage of L’Orignal and the surrounding area.
