A Friendly Visit from Your Firefighters

Type(s)
Public Heath and Emergency

Over the coming weeks and throughout the fall, the Township of Champlain Fire Services will be conducting door-to-door residential visits in various neighbourhoods across the municipality as part of its fire prevention program.

These visits provide an opportunity for firefighters to verify that smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are properly installed and working, answer residents' fire safety questions, and share practical tips to help prevent fires and improve home safety.

The visits are offered free of charge and are an important part of the Fire Services' ongoing commitment to public education and community safety.

Residents can be assured that firefighters will always be clearly identified by their uniform and an official Township of Champlain identification card.

The Township thanks residents for their cooperation in helping make our community a safer place to live.
