The Township of Champlain is seeking one (1) individual to fill the position of Champlain Townships Community Representative on the Hawkesbury OPP Detachment Board for the 2026-2030 term of Council.
Previous experience on boards or committees is considered an asset. To qualify as a board member, you must:
- Be a Canadian citizen;
- Be a resident of Champlain Township;
- Be at least 18 years of age; and
- Be bilingual (French/English), and have good communication skills
- Pass a comprehensive police record check
- Understand the role of a Police Services Board
- Be involved in their community
