September 2, 2026, Township of Champlain – Residents of L’Orignal are advised that lower water pressure may be experienced starting September 10 and through the end of the month while the L’Orignal Standpipe is temporarily out of service.
During this period, L’Orignal’s water supply will come exclusively from the Town of Hawkesbury. As a result, the water pressure available throughout the system may be limited during periods of higher demand.
Residents are asked to use water responsibly and avoid unnecessary or excessive water use, particularly during peak periods. Reducing water consumption will help maintain adequate water pressure throughout the community.
The Township appreciates residents’ cooperation and understanding while the standpipe is temporarily out of service.
