July 30, 2026 - L'Orignal Beach is currently unsafe for swimming.
Recent water quality testing conducted by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit identified bacterial levels above provincial guidelines. As a precaution, swimming is not recommended at this time. Contact with the water may increase the risk of illness.
Water quality monitoring will continue, and the advisory will remain in effect until test results confirm that bacterial levels have returned to acceptable standards. Water testing results and updates are available on the Eastern Ontario Health Unit website.
